It’s always hard to find a head torch that not only works great, but also fits comfortably. More of than not, we find ourselves having to constantly adjust the straps or replace the batteries – otherwise, we’re left in the dark!

After years of headlamps looking, functioning, and wearing the same, Knog is striking out with something completely different. Knog is no stranger to producing high-quality headlamps, but they listened to the feedback, they took our advice, and they decided to revolutionise it.

The first thing I noticed on opening the box – the colour. Bright orange shines out at me. But that’s not the best thing about the lamp. Here’s some of the pros and cons:

Pros

• A variety of light settings to choose from, including a reading light, as well as a red night light, wide, mid or spot angle.

• The modes are customizable via the app.
• Three colour options to choose from – Fluro Orange, Violet Blue, and Black.
• It takes just four hours to fully charge.

Cons

• It’s early days, but as there is just one strap it doesn’t feel as secure when running.
• It doesn’t go into full production until May, which means you don’t have much time to jump onboard the Kickstarter.
